Your privacy matters

This Privacy Policy describes how Eccella ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Sportivi, our tool that helps sports clubs manage their members through registration, groups, activities, attendance and notifications. Sportivi is a service operated by Eccella, a partnership established in Malta (VAT no. MT3270-3921). Questions about your data? Email us at support@sportivi.eu.

Who controls your data

• Sportivi controls your account and identity — login, name, date of birth, avatar and contact email.
• Your club controls what it collects and manages about you in Sportivi (membership, attendance, activities, communications and forms). We process this on the club's behalf.

What we collect

• Your name, date of birth, an optional avatar, and a contact email
• Your role and membership in each club, and the groups and activities you take part in
• Attendance and RSVP responses
• Messages your club sends you, and whether they were delivered
• Anything you or your club submit through registration forms
• Payment records your club enters
• Basic technical data needed to run and secure the service, such as sign-in logs
• On our public website: pages you visit, how you arrived (referrer), approximate country, and general device and browser type

Why we use it

To provide the service: to let you sign in, let clubs manage membership, run activities, take attendance, and send notifications. We don't sell your data or show you ads. We use limited, privacy-friendly analytics on our public website to understand how it is used and improve it.

Website analytics

When you visit our public website, we use web analytics to collect aggregated usage information, including:

• Usage information — pages viewed and how you arrived at the site (for example, a search engine or another link)
• Device information — general device type (desktop, mobile, or tablet), browser, and operating system

This analytics is cookieless, does not identify you personally, does not track you across other websites, and does not store your IP address. We use it only to understand site traffic and improve our website — not for advertising.

Children

Sportivi is built for clubs whose members include children, and protecting their data matters to us. Children don't register themselves — a child's profile is created and managed by the club and/or by the child's parent or legal guardian.

If a child's information has been added without a parent or guardian's consent, contact us or the club and we'll take reasonable and appropriate action to restrict or remove it. Parents and guardians can access and manage their child's profile and can reach us with any questions.

Reasons for absence

Some clubs may record information about why a member misses a session, such as sickness or injury. Sportivi does not use this information for its own purposes or share it outside your club.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run Sportivi: our database and file storage (hosted in the EU/EEA), our email provider, our registration-form provider, and our hosting provider (including privacy-friendly website analytics). Each only handles the data needed to do its job. We don't share your data with anyone else, except where the law requires it.

Where your data is stored

Your core data is stored in the EU/EEA. Where a provider operates outside the EU/EEA, we make sure appropriate legal safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you have an account or are a member of a club, and then delete it within a reasonable period — except where we're required to keep certain records longer by law (for example, financial records).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your data, or object to how it's used. You can edit much of this yourself in the app; for anything else, email support@sportivi.eu and we'll respond within one month. For data a club manages, you can also raise it with the club, and you can complain to Malta's data-protection regulator, the IDPC (idpc.org.mt).

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary to run the service, such as keeping you signed in. Our public website analytics does not use cookies. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes

If we make important changes to this policy, we'll let you know.
